Akbar Kabir

Myself Mr. Akbar Kabir, a veteran of Indian Navy hailed from Murshidabad District of West Bengal had met with a road traffic accident at about 6 PM on the 7th January 2020, while returning home from my office. I was travelling on my personal motorcycle on Badshahi Road and collided with a truck due to heavy foggy weather causing low vicinity. I was seriously injured and had lost consciousness due to the impact. Some local passers-by informed my family and they arranged an ambulance to take me to Berhampore Hospital for medical treatment. However, due to lack of suitable facility at Berhampore, the doctors referred me to Kolkata.
I was admitted in the ICU under treatment of Dr. Arunava Lala. I underwent two orthopaedic surgeries of left shoulder on 10 January and left knee on 13 January as I had sustained multiple fractures in these body parts. I was discharged from hospital on 22 January and staying at a guesthouse close to the hospital and undergoing the mandatory post-surgical medication, care, physiotherapy and weekly check-up as advised by the doctor. Finally, on 4th March 2020 at around 8 PM the doctor at the time of medical review permitted me to return back to my native place at Berhampore. At present, I am recovering my injuries well and hope will be totally fit in near future please.
