My mother was suffering from acute rheumatoid arthritis and her ra factor was 158 and anti CCP report was 500. Her left knee required a surgery due to severe damage which was worsening with time. During the lockdown period the situation became worse. When Dr. Lala investigated with his medical team he suggested an immediate total knee replacement. For the time being it was a hard decision for me and my mother there came the time when the doctor and his team supported us through every possible means. Giving us the courage that the hope of light is just behind our decision. Thus on 14 th of January 2021 I admitted my mother at IRIS hospital my mother’s name is Mousumi Roy. After the surgery she is doing fine and is under the doctor’s treatment and physiotherapist Bappa. My mother can carry on with all activities at home which makes her happy to walk back the steps as the early times.
