My mother Mrs. Kalpana Dasgupta has knee related issue. She is suffering from unbearable pain. She can’t walk property and facing problems to do any physical movement depending on lower part of her body due to bone erosion at knee. Few months ago I have come to know about Dr. Lala. He has advised us for knee replacement. We chose IRIS hospital. And surgery was excellent. Our experience is good about IRIS hospital and of course about Dr. Lala. We have planned for another knee replacement in coming year at IRIS hospital under Dr. Lala’s observation.

I fall down from staircase at Gariahat on 9th September 2019 and broken my right leg and hand into pieces. This accident was very soft and the impact was so big. I was immediately taken to IRIS hospital by my driver and fortunately, Dr A Lala was present. After X ray the seriousness of the injuries were revealed. It was long operations for two days to set the hand and leg right with external metal support.

I stayed under the guidance of Dr Lala and continued with physio therapy. Slowly and gradually I came back on my almost normal routine. I can walk now with almost normalcy.

Myself Mr. Akbar Kabir, a veteran of Indian Navy hailed from Murshidabad District of West Bengal had met with a road traffic accident at about 6 PM on the 7th January 2020, while returning home from my office. I was travelling on my personal motorcycle on Badshahi Road and collided with a truck due to heavy foggy weather causing low vicinity. I was seriously injured and had lost consciousness due to the impact. Some local passers-by informed my family and they arranged an ambulance to take me to Berhampore Hospital for medical treatment. However, due to lack of suitable facility at Berhampore, the doctors referred me to Kolkata.
I was admitted in the ICU under treatment of Dr. Arunava Lala. I underwent two orthopaedic surgeries of left shoulder on 10 January and left knee on 13 January as I had sustained multiple fractures in these body parts. I was discharged from hospital on 22 January and staying at a guesthouse close to the hospital and undergoing the mandatory post-surgical medication, care, physiotherapy and weekly check-up as advised by the doctor. Finally, on 4th March 2020 at around 8 PM the doctor at the time of medical review permitted me to return back to my native place at Berhampore. At present, I am recovering my injuries well and hope will be totally fit in near future please.

আমি উজ্জ্বল হালদার। কলকাতার বাসিন্দা। খেলতে গিয়ে পায়ে ligament এ injury হয় । বয়স কম ছিল, প্রথমে আমি বিষয়টা গুরুত্ব কম দি, কিন্তু কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই জীবন দুর্বিসহ হয়ে ওঠে !! আমার workplace এবং daily life প্রচন্ড ভাবে effective হয়। একটা সময় তো এমন এলো আমি হাঁটাচলা করতেও ভয় পেতে থাকি, এই বুঝি হাটু twist হয়ে যায় !!! সেই সময় আমি Dr. Arunachal Lala র appointment নি এবং ওনার পরামর্শে 2015 সালে Irish Hospital এ ভর্তি হয়ে ligament oparation করাই। উনি শুধু oparation করেননি, আমাকে mentali প্রচুর support করেছেন পুরোনো সাহস ফিরে পেতে। শুধু তাই নয় ওনার supporting stuf team প্রতি নিয়ত সাহায্য করেছে । কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই আমি সেরে উঠি এবং normal life lead করতে থাকি। শুধু তাই নয় 2016 তে আমি rock climbing করি, 2017 তে সিকিম এ trekking এ যাই, 2018 তে হিমাচল এর 5300 mt. উঁচু Sara Umaga Pass ক্রস করি, যা হয়তো Dr. Arunava Lala না হলে সম্ভব হতো না। Thanks Dr. Lala. আপনি এই ভাবেই সবাই কে সুস্থ করে তুলুন।

My name is Piyali Banerjee, resident of Siliguri. On 08.11.17, I had faced an accident near Sealdah, Kolkata and my right hand had multiple fractured. I had admitted in IRIS Hospital, Kolkata under Dr. Arunava Lala Sir who not only did my treatment but also helped me out from the trauma. I met an accident on 29.02.20 and my left leg got broken in three parts. The situation was pathetic and doctor decided to put plates for joining the same. I was successfully operated by Dr. Lala and the same was built. After 2 months of complete bed rest and minimum movement I was completely healed and was back to my normal life. There is no such problem that I am facing right now during my movements. I am thankful from the bottom of my heart to my doctor Dr. Lala.
